Endress+Hauser Australia has experienced considerable growth. As a result, a new full-time position for an experienced Materials Engineer has become available for our WA Engineering team, located in Perth.
Role + Responsibilities:
- Optimization of customer mechanical processes using Endress + Hauser solutions, products and services
- Applying strong understanding of complex process systems and installations within multiple Industries.
- Ensuring correct materials and equipment selection to meet all applicable manufacturing standards and specifications
- Presenting to customers, the best fit solutions for their business and industry plants
- Assisting the Business in the achievement of targets
- Active use of C-360 to plan and manage day to day activities
- Inspecting and assessing plants to improve quality control systems and offer cost effective solutions
- Applying technical knowledge of installations – features and benefits and those most vital to an industry group
- Identifying new opportunities – projects and customers needs in terms of mechanical and processes planning and design
Skills + Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of E+H products and/or a strong technical background in process instrumentation would be ideal
- Proven understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles and processes relevant to the Power, Oil and Gas Industry
- Ability to develop and successfully implement plans, forecasts, reports
- Be determined, tenacious and own the position
- Possess strong technical problem-solving skills and outcome focus
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience using a CRM tool would be highly regarded
