Our client is part of a Multinational Group specialising in bespoke containerised acoustic enclosures for Power Generators servicing various industries including Healthcare, Retail & Hospitality, Farming & Agriculture & Mining to name a few. They are committed to every aspect of product development from research and development to design, manufacturing, installation, and final commissioning.
The Opportunity
Join a vibrant Engineering team as a their Mechanical Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in every stage of product development. From conceptualization and design to testing, manufacturing, and implementation, you'll contribute to the success of our projects.
Job Scope
- Performing full lifecycle product development, from design to implementation.
- Designing systems and components that meet project requirements.
- Generating preliminary designs and conducting detailed analyses.
- Identifying and resolving technical challenges to enhance product designs.
- Evaluating product performance, reliability, and safety.
- Modifying designs to address requirements and eliminate malfunctions.
- Estimating project budgets and scopes.
- Creating comprehensive technical documentation and reports.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR similar
- Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering, ideally within the building & construction industry.
- Proficiency in 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools such as AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Solid understanding of engineering analysis tools and mathematical computing.
- Creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities to convey technical concepts clearly.
Advantage to have, but not essential:
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
