We are currently seeking:Mechanical Engineer to work with our team out of Somersby (NSW Central Coast), who is also willing to travel to different sites / states and who is eager to learn. The ultimate goal of this role is for the candidate to understand our hydraulic equipment but also major erection and foundations equipment.
Key duties:
- Maintain an inventory of the equipment and forecast future requirement.
- Cost control including plant requests, plant invoices and assisting the plant manager.
- Procure new equipment and look for competitive suppliers or service providers.
- Quality control on maintenance regime and procedure.
- Develop and maintain an efficient storage of the plant, equipment, and temporary works in Somersby yard.
- Support digitalisation of our processes.
- Specific to CWBL and major Equipment:
- Support projects to procure new major equipment.
- Commissioning and registration of Major equipment
- Coordinate maintenance and maintain spare parts.
- Coordinate demobilisation and resale if require.
Skills:
- Recently qualified Mechanical Engineer (between Graduate to 5 years of experience)
- Exposure to hydraulics, mechatronic (electronic) / welding / metallurgy knowledge through your studies
