AddressFrontek Australia specialized in providing innovative and sophisticated building solutions, particularly in the field of ventilated façade systems. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Sydney, Australia
Experience: Minimum of 2+ yearsKey Responsibilities:
- Design special purpose machines and create customized solutions for façade cladding systems.
- Optimize the capacity and capability of facilities and deliver innovative machinery to diversify and grow the business.
- Design, develop, and maintain current machinery and equipment under the guidance of the company director.
- Generate assembly and component drawings for fabrication purposes, including installation accessories.
- Assist with technical reports and documentation for equipment maintenance and installation systems.
- Develop and build prototypes, conducting tests to measure the cladding system or accessories functionality.
- Analyze existing systems and mechanical devices, proposing improvements.
- Ensure installation system compliances for distributions in Asia Pacific regions and areas.
- Maintain relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
- Collaborate with the workshop to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Interpreting drawings and specifications, provide technical solutions.
- Familiarity with 3D design software and designing installation solutions to overcome possible challenges in the façade cladding industry.
- Provide technical support to industrial partners and existing clients.
- Creating production planning and maintaining technical documentation, such as drawing and technical report.
- Produce shop drawings with installation details for components and system accessories fabrication.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently to achieve positive outcomes.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficient IT skills, including CAD software.
- Project management skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
- Familiar with 3D design modelling software.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Forklift license is a plus.
- Driving license is a plus.
