Crusader Caravans is looking for a dedicated and passionate Planning Officer/ Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Epping, Victoria
Location:14 Chadderton Blvd., Epping, VIC 3076.
Salary: $70,000 + superannuation
Hours: Full Time - 38 hours per week
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Design new systems and processes and provide facilities and methods to ensure the cost-effective integration of new products or improve existing ones into manufacturing operations.
Use of functional statements, organisational charts and project information for the determination of functions of workers and work units;
Use of functional statements and project information to identify areas of duplication;
Analysis and utilisation of workforce, facility layout, operational data, production schedules and costs to ascertain the most efficient allocation of workers and equipment;
Creating mechanical equipment, machines, components and products for manufacturing;
Designing plant and systems for construction purposes;
Formulating specifications for manufacture and selecting materials, equipment and piping;
Determining material flows, capacities and plant layout;
Managing project labour and overseeing the delivery of materials, plant and equipment;
Establishing standards and protocols for installation, modification and quality control, amongst others;
Adhering to Engineering principles and Safety Regulations;
Conducting plant inspections to ensure optimal performance;
Supervising maintenance of plant buildings and equipment, and coordinating needs.
Establish protocols and recommendations for installation, quality assurance, testing, inspection, and maintenance aligning all activities with technical principles and safety regulations

Qualifications of a Mechanical Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of engineering;
Minimum 2 years of work experience in relevant field.
