Mechanical Fitter

APMS Operations Australia provides quality Engineering Maintenance and Asset Management services to the Mining Minerals, Oil & Gas Sectors and Sulphuric Acid Plant Maintenance Services.
APMS require the following trades for ongoing workshop positions and site-based shutdowns -
Mechanical Fitters
You must be trade qualified or with strong leadership skills, be able to demonstrate high level technical knowledge, excellent planning and highly developed verbal and communication skills. These positions would suit self-starters with good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. To be successful you must be flexible and experienced in onsite maintenance and shutdowns.
Successful candidates must present with a commitment and proactive attitude towards Safety.
We are looking for candidates with the below tickets and or experience:
Trade Qualification
Confined Space Training
Working Safely at heights
Breathing Apparatus
Confined Space rescue
Experience working in Sulphuric Acid Plants in Encapsulated Suits
Essential criteria for our candidates include:
All applicants must be able to pass a medical and drug and alcohol
Ability to work well in a team environment & autonomously
A committed attitude towards HSE
Desirable Attributes:
Excellent rates of pay and conditions with a multi-tier pay scale depending on experience, commitment, and attitude onsite. (Salary Range ($80,000 - $90,000 / year).
Whether it is an Australian or international / overseas shutdown, all flights, travel, accommodation and meals are booked and paid for by APMS.
