- Strip and overhaul drive system components.
- Diagnose and repair faults.
- Drill holes and tap threads for bolting and assembling parts.
- Interpret detailed drawings or specifications for job requirements.
- Remove, repair, replace, fit, or assemble parts or components on large machinery and equipment.
- General housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Operate fixed plant equipment such as drill presses, lathes, and grinders.
- Perform welding, hot works, and cutting bearings using an oxy cutter.
- Accurately complete final inspection sheets.
- Trade-qualified.
- Mechanically minded individual not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get dirty.
- Current driver's license and reliable transport (ideal).
- Additional licenses are beneficial but not essential.
- Experience in a similar role is necessary.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment medicals, including drug and alcohol testing.
- A safety-conscious attitude.
