Inthis role as a Mechanical Fitter, you should be able to work inaccordance with quality work plans and procedures on scheduled and unplannedmaintenance; carry out inspections; troubleshoot and test corrective repairs onvarious fixed and processing plant and mining equipment, which includes but notlimited to jaw and cone crushers, vibe feeders, rotating equipment, conveyors,pumps, blowers, valves, piping, mechanical seals, and hydraulic systems;ensuring all documentation is completed and backlogs raised for identifiedfaults. You should also be experienced and conversant with the technicalparameters governing pump maintenance regarding mechanical seal installation,bearing clearances, gaskets, rotors, couplings, alignment, and protectiondevices; component removing, rebuilding and installing chutes, liners, screens,pulleys, idler, roller frames, hydraulic and pneumatic components. The abilityto work independently will also be highly regarded.
Thisfull-time work will be completed in a highly safe and team environment inliaison with team leads and customer’s site requirements. Roles are availablefor immediate start in Perth Metro, FIFO, DIDO 7/7, 8/6, and 2/1 Rosters in thePilbara, South-West, and Goldfields.
Qualifications:
- A completed four years ofapprenticeship training and 3-year post-apprenticeship
- Must possess a relevanttrade Certificate
- Having the rights to work inAustralia is an added advantage
Salary:
$50.00– $75.00 per hour plus superannuation
