AddressOur client is a leading food manufacturer that is seeking
2x Mechanical Fitters
on a temp to perm basis in their Osborne Park site.
Monday to Friday (day shift)
Pay rate: $61.33 per hour
Duties:
- Will be fitting and assembling metal parts to fabricate production machines and other equipment.
- Will be using a range of tools and engineering techniques to maintain and repair mobile and fixed mechanical plant and equipment to clients' operational standards.
- Constructing and modifying parts and components, using a variety of tools and equipment, including hand and power tools.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Fitter trade certificate
- Inventory management.
- Minimum 3 years proven trade experience post apprenticeship
- Industrial (high volume) food processing experience, particularly frozen foods
- Knowledge of ammonia based refrigeration systems
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical blue prints
- Ability to develop and document Standard Operating Procedures
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) Preventative Maintenance Programs (Mex, PC Maint)
- Have full understanding of HACCP, BRC, WQA
