Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship The Opportunity Our client, Fremantle Hydraulics, is a leader in hydraulics equipment and system design, manufacture, sales and servicing. Since 1992, their business has been innovating and improving fluid powered machinery for the defence, marine and offshore, mining and transport industries. The Fremantle Hydraulics workshop is located at the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson, WA and has state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, the latest computer-aided design technology, testing facilities, and purpose-built machinery. Job Details As a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice, you will develop the skills to dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components, perform general machining, use hand and electric tools for precision work, install hydraulic components, undertake fault diagnostics, and shut down and isolate machines/equipment. Undertaking this four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter and earn your MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting).
