THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client BOC Gas and Gear, based in Wetherill Park, is a leading global gases and engineering company that supply gasses and equipment to many sectors including heavy industry and medical environments are looking for a 2nd and 3rd year Mechanical Fitter apprentice to join the team.
While working alongside experienced tradespeople you will work in the workshop and at customer sites, installing gas pipes, servicing, and installing food preparation/freezer equipment, servicing BOC owned and customer owned gas equipment, conducting customer gas purges and rebuilding.
Undertaking this four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Mechanical Fitter and you will earn your MEM30219 Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
ABOUT YOU
We are ideally looking for a technically minded individual who is interested in completing training and has completed the first year of your apprenticeship. We're seeking a team player who has a positive attitude to learn.

- Construction white card
- Ability to follow instructions
- Strong commitment to safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be prepared to work overtime.
- Be prepared to travel on various sites
- Hard-working person who can work autonomously and as part of the team
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen and Police Check
