Gympie South State School are seeking a Head of Department - Curriculum to work collaboratively with the Gympie South year level teaching teams to progress our school agenda by deepening knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and using data to create targeted learning programs to increase student engagement. Lead the effective and consistent implementation of high-yield reading pedagogies across the school, inclusive of, but not limited to, coaching, modelling, co-teaching, observing practice and providing feedback and support.
Build the capacity of all educators in the effective, inclusive and robust delivery of the Australian Curriculum to improve learning outcomes for all students.
Engage staff in intentional collaboration around the rigorous delivery and implementation of the Australian Curriculum V9.Please refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested? To Apply:

  • Building teachers understanding of curriculum and aligning this to student need based off data trends.
