Our Hemmant branch is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and autonomous Mechanical Fitter who is driven and able to perform breakdown and reactive maintenance effectively.
You will be a critical part of our operations as you will help in ensuring smooth delivery, reliability and daily processes on site. This role offers permanent and stable employment on a day shift roster working on a wide variety of tasks. You will be working Mondays to Fridays from 6 am to 2:30 pm with potential overtime.
Duties include;
Execution of reactive and regulatory maintenance as well as attending to breakdowns if the need arises
Identifying opportunities for improvement
Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding tasks
Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical drawings
Participation in regular shutdown tasks as an individual or working with other members of the team
About your experience
You will be a Maintenance Fitter who values safety, efficiency, and teamwork. You are driven, a good communicator, and have the initiative to be effective in this role.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
Relevant mechanical trade qualification
Ideally, a previous experience in the Industrial Manufacturing industry
Knowledge in Hyrdaulics, Pneumatics, and Electrics will be highly regarded
Exceptional fault finding and troubleshooting skills
Have a proactive approach, whilst holding safety and customer as core values
A confident communicator who can work autonomously
Self-starter who is focused on outcomes and keen to contribute to the business as a whole
