Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant machinery and equipment
- Control and operation of the crushing plant, on an as required basis, including inspection and checking of plant and equipment and recording of operating parameters and other relevant information as required on the crusher log sheets
- Play a role in the day-to-day functioning of the plant, which involves the operation of both fixed and mobile plant machinery
- Housekeeping all areas of the fixed plant and port as required and/or directed
- Assisting maintenance workers with maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment during plant shutdowns and breakdowns.
- Report any safety incident/ hazard to your Supervisor within 30 minutes
- Conduct a job hazard analysis prior to commencing any new tasks
- Ensure 100% compliance with company policies and safety procedures
- Actively participate in handover, pre-start, safety and toolbox meetings
- Good verbal and written communication skills
What is required:
- Experience with fixed plant maintenance, ideally in mining or a similar industry
- C Class Driver’s License
- Australian or Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
- High Risk License - EWP, DG & RB
- Working at heights / Confined Spaces / Gas Test Atmospheres
- National Police Check
- Stockyard and Balance machine experience (advantageous)
- Fixed plant control room experience (advantageous)
