We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter / Rigger to join our maritime sustainment program based in Henderson, WA. The position will initially be a 12 month fixed-term contract with opportunity for a long-term position.

- Core hours will be 8 hours per day Monday to Friday with opportunity for overtime in busier periods
Your new role:
As a Mechanical Fitter at BAE Systems, your duties will be;
- Mechanical Fitter duties on the Anzac Class Navy Frigates
- Rigging when required
- General housekeeping
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will need the following:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Previous Mechanical experience
- Marine experience desirable
- Advanced Rigging licence
- Ability to work autonomously or part of a team
- An excellent attitude towards safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
- We are open to seeing resumes from Advanced Riggers with Fitting experience (no trade qualification)
