TRS Resourcing has been asked to source and screen suitable trade-qualified Mechanical Fitters for our food manufacturing client's workshop in Moorebank.
You will be responsible for site maintenance, machine setup and adjustment, preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and continuous improvement of site production assets and infrastructure.
Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Able to interpret workshop/engineering drawings
- Hold the ability to prioritise work tasks
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Connect re-connect licence (preferred)
- Ability to operate a lathe and a milling machine for basic repairs
- Ability to perform MIG and TIG welding for minor repairs
- Manage Preventative & Reactive maintenance requests
- Able to work unsupervised and part of a team
- Reference contact details of two past employers
- Based already in NSW
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification
