Your responsibilities
- Oversee the workshop and the team.
- Schedule and allocate maintenance as required.
- Ensure records are correct and up to date.
- Mentor apprentice's and trade assistants and keep them on task.
- Ordering and replacing parts as needed
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
To be considered for the position you will have
- Minimum 2 years’ Heavy Vehicle Trade Certificate
- Current HR licence
- Experience with Kenworth, Cummins & Isuzu
- Proven track record of ability with sound references
- Experience in both truck and trailer repair, and service requirements
- Ability to manage time and meet priorities established for allocated work
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow policies and procedures
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
- Strong troubleshooting ability and problem solving skills
- A professional and responsible attitude with a high level of motivation and autonomy
Monday to Friday with regular overtime available
