Successful applications are required to work Monday - Friday 7am-4pm, while paid under the EA - Rolling Stock Agreement.Key ResponsibilitiesAdherence to all legislative and regulatory requirements.Undertake safety procedures.Overhaul, repair and test air-brake system componentsPerform system modifications as required.Change major Fleet Components and servicingUndertake all train maintenance duties in accordance with your level of experience, competence, and trainingSafety awareness, Operating under a zero-harm workforceQualifications & ExperienceTrade qualified as a Mechanical FitterDemonstrated minimum 5 years' experience in a similar roleCurrent Victorian Driver's LicensePrevious experience within a maintenance environment is expectedDemonstrated expertise within either a rail/manufacturing environmentMetro's commitment to a Diverse, Equitable, and Inclusive cultureMetro acknowledges the Victorian Traditional Owners of the land on which our rail network operates, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation.At Metro, we know that a diverse, equitable, and inclusive company is a more innovative and successful one that reflects the communities we serve.
