Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Malaga, Australia
About the Role: We seek a skilled Workshop Mechanical Fitter to join our client's Tubular Running Services division. You will be based at our client's purpose-built facility in Malaga. As a Workshop Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include mechanical repair, overhaul, and commissioning of all our client's mechanised equipment, ensuring compliance with Global TRS work instructions. Additionally, you’ll assist in load-out preparation, equipment inspection, cleaning, and refurbishment for future use. Safety and efficiency will be paramount in your daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical repair, overhaul, and commissioning of mechanised equipment.
- Prepare equipment for load-out, inspect, clean, and refurbish for future use.
- Maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.
- Schedule workshop activities to maximise efficiency.
- Prioritise and schedule repairs and maintenance of specialised equipment.
- Implement specialised equipment spare part inventory management.
- Uphold high standards of housekeeping practices in the workshop and yard.
- Develop and maintain specialised equipment servicing procedures.
- Trade qualified (Mechanical or Electronic).
- Strong hydraulic and electronic fault-finding abilities.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of Quality, Safety, Security, and Environment (QHSSE).
- Demonstrated procedural knowledge and operational competency.
Monday to Friday
8 am to 4:15 pm. Overtime is available.
