No. 31514We are actively seeking an experienced Fitter or Boilermaker to take the next step in their career and assist the supervisor to drive the continued performance of the Maintenance Teams at our Zinc Lead Concentrator. This position is suited to a tradesperson looking for progression to leading teams, or an experienced tradesperson looking to provide leadership and share their knowledge. Safely coordinating the daily activities of tradespersons and operational personnel
Support and develop the skills and competencies of your team of tradespeople and apprentices.
Planning, organising and controlling maintenance activities to optimise the use of available resources.
Providing constructive leadership and promoting a positive workplace culture
Working with Engineers and planners to implement/ review maintenance strategies.
You will have the following skillset and attributes:
Experience with pumps, mineral filter presses or flotation equipment
Good time management skills with the ability to recognise and allocate priorities
The ability to effectively interact with all areas of the operations.
Sound computer skills (Excel, Word)/SAP experience will be favourable.
Good verbal and written communication skills
