The Role:
We are looking for a practical, hands-on Mechanical Leading Hand with potential Boilermaker/Fitter experience for our Water Division. This full-time role offers the chance to leverage your mechanical and structural skills while managing on-site construction projects with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
With support from the Supervisor and project team, you'll work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes, adding value to our diverse business and contributing to our growth objectives.
What you Need:
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Experience in mechanical/structural projects (preferably in building, bridges, wharves, and treatment plants)
- Working at Heights, Confined Space, First Aid & CPR certifications (desired)
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Ability to collaborate effectively and strive for positive outcomes
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to read technical plans and drawings
- Commitment to safety and quality work
- Willingness to work away from home when required
