The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking experienced MechanicalLubricationTechnicians who are highly motivated, driven and have exceptional work ethics.
Point of hire for all roles is Perth and will be FIFO contract in the Pilbara servicing our clients in the Iron Ore Industry.
Tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Carry out lubrication on fixed plant equipment – filter and oil change outs, grease sampling, replace hoses etc.
- Assembly and crimping of hose assemblies
- Carry out routine inspections on fixed plant equipment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety to achieve a workplace target of zero injuries and incidents.
- An ability to work effectively within a team.
- Well-developed communication skills.
- Be able to perform under pressure and have an excellent level of mechanical competence, diagnostic and reporting skills.
The successful applicant will have:
- A Mechanical Fitter trade certification
- Proven experience in lubrication and fixed plant.
- Minimum 12 months mining experience
- Hydraulics & Pneumatics experience (advantageous)
- Tube bending experience (advantageous)
- Experience in hydraulic hoses and fittings, tube, and pipeassemblies.
- RIO, FMG or BHP Inducted
- High level of knowledge of quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Current Driver Licence
- CSE/WAH/GTA/FAFF tickets (or willing to obtain)
- HRWL – WP (advantageous)
