Your role
CSL Seqirus have an opportunity to join the Maintenance team in a for a 12 month secondment/fixed term contract. This role will see you gain Fill/Finish skills and knowledge in a leadership role, critical to successful production of our seasonal influenza vaccines.
You will deliver Mechanical Maintenance with your team across the Fill Finish (FF) facility on site and maintain all machinery to the prescribed level of safety and efficiency, using your problem-solving skills to confidently fault-find and repair breakdowns.
In addition to this, you’ll maintain the integrity of the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and perform tasks including work planning (scope, setup, isolation, and risk assessments), scheduled servicing, breakdowns, shutdowns, commissioning, and test running machines and equipment.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting into the Parkville Maintenance Manager you will:
- Deliver the Fill Finish (FF) maintenance activities (planned, breakdown and shutdowns)
- Manage all safety and quality systems associated with your team, including training
- Liaise with vendors for technical solutions as required
- Manage on-site contractors and off-site vendor as required
- Provide timely leadership, decision making, escalation and problem solving/root cause analysis support for breakdowns
- Review quality information/reports, authorise documents and ensure we are compliant ready with respect to the various quality systems on site at all times
- Manage SAP (CMMS) maintenance work order processes, from creation to completion
- Manage and support isolations across the plant, for breakdown/planned and shutdown works
- Ensure all equipment, and work done, is operating in line with Seqirus cGMP policies and procedures
Your Experience
- Degree in appropriate engineering discipline (mechanical or similar)
- Minimum 5 years experience working within a maintenance team
- Leadership experience is preferred but can be developed as part of your role
- Experience in a pharmaceutical, FMCG or chemical production environment is desirable.
- Good Manufacturing Practices experience is desirable.
- Sound understanding of machine operations and experience in conducting non-conformance investigations;
- Knowledge of SAP, or a similar system, is beneficial
- Respect for others, an all-inclusive mindset and a commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Exceptional fault-finding and problem-solving skills
