Your Opportunity - Mechanical Maintenance Fitter - $47.25ph base rate
- Work life balance roster of Monday to Friday 8.30AM-4.36PM
- Banksmeadow location
- The primary purpose is to ensure Sort Systems and related depot equipment is fully maintained and functioning at full capacity at Team Global Express's PUD processing centre at Banksmeadow
- Routine preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on all mechanical plant and equipment
- Assisting in the design of innovative system and facility solutions to meet evolving operational and business needs
- Ensuring rapid repair of critical system components
- Supporting operational personnel in the correct usage of systems and equipment
- Ensuring critical spare parts are maintained in a neat and orderly manner
- Ensuring that hazards are identified, and risks are assessed and controlled. Acting immediately to stop any observed unsafe act or condition
- Participating in training to maintain the required competencies in current and introduced technologies
- Be actively involved with OHS audits and any corrective actions
- Complying with the organisation's policies including - safe working practices, occupational health and safety
- Participating in and actively supporting service quality and workplace improvement activities

To be successful in this role, you could have the following experience:
- Trade Qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Australian Trade Recognised)
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance fitting role
- Understanding of PLC, VSD and SCADA installations
- General knowledge of carton and package handling conveyor systems
- Proficient in reading complex technical diagrams
- Proficient in maintain complex mechanical systems
- Proficient with conveying equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Capacity to utilise computerised maintenance management (MEX) software systems effectively
- Available to work Monday to Friday
- Ideally an electrical connect/disconnect ticket,
- Ability to work unsupervised,
- Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment
