The Facilities and Services Division (F&S) 'enables academic excellence at the ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery'. The three key portfolios within the Division are Infrastructure & Planning, Operations, and Corporate.
The Division's Building Maintenance team is responsible for the management and delivery of best practice maintenance and minor capital works at the ANU across the ANU.
Reporting to the Building Maintenance Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for delivery outcomes of timely and high quality maintenance and minor works services in relation to a multi-disciplined team of trade staff and contractors. This will include the oversight of statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance services and minor capital works across the University.
To be successful in the role the candidate must be organised and have a great eye for detail. They must have technical skills or a detailed knowledge of Mechanical Services including HVAC. Extensive administrative experience is desirable such as scheduling, auditing and contract management experience is also preferred.
The Mechanical Services Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all building mechanical systems, equipment, and facilities operate at peak efficiency. They Mechanical Services Supervisor will need to be able to forecast workloads and assigned tasks accordingly to make sure deadlines are met with accuracy, resolve issues that arise in order to keep both building maintenance activities running smoothly or take care of any repairs needed.
