About the role
- Rotating Equipment Technicians with experience in gas compression maintenance including operation, diagnostics, major overhaul and servicing of Ariel Compressors, Waukesha Gas Engines and Caterpillar Gas Engines.
- 15:13 roster on offer with FIFO available from Australian Capital Cities
- Work across various maintenance facilities located in Dalby, QLD
- Permanent, ongoing position with competitive salary on offer
- Immediate start available
- Maintenance of site including Hazardous area inspection and verification activities, VSD Parameter updates, Critical Function testing, maintenance of electronic measurement instruments and permit to work coordination and completion
- Demonstrate a personal commitment towards all HSEQ policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
About you
- Minimum 3+ years in a similar position
- Experience with Ariel Compressors, Waukesha Gas Engines and Caterpillar Gas Engines
- Minimum or equivalent trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Fitter & Turner (Machinist), Cert III in Plumbing (Mechanical Services), Boiler Maker MEM30305
- OEM Competencies desirable
- Current Australian Drivers Licence (C, MR or HR)
- HRWL to include; LF Forklift, DG Dogging, Boom Type EWP, Working at Heights
- First Aid / CPR Training
- PMASUP236B Operate and Maintain a 4WD Vehicle
- MSMWHS217 Gas Test Atmospheres
- Hold a Nationally Accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
- Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
