Position: Field Service Mechanic
Location: Queanbeyan, NSW
Experience: We are looking for individuals with at least six months of experience repairing earthmoving and commercial vehicles.
Salary: Over $100K in Salary + Super.
Responsibilities:
- Routine Maintenance: Keep the clients' mobile plant machinery running smoothly by performing routine servicing, identifying potential issues, and recommending proactive repairs.
- Repairs and Diagnosis: Tackle breakdowns precisely, diagnose faults accurately, and provide detailed repair requirements for precise quoting.
- Pre-Delivery Checks: Guarantee customer satisfaction by completing thorough pre-delivery inspections on new plant and equipment, ensuring optimal performance from day one.
- Process Improvement: Your insights matter! Offer feedback on systems and processes to drive continuous business efficiency and effectiveness improvement.
- Client Interaction: Build lasting relationships with our clients through courteous interactions and seize business opportunities during site visits.
- Welding and Steel Works: Showcase your welding and steelworking skills when handling repair or fabrication tasks as needed.
- Training and Development: Embrace growth opportunities! Be open to additional training to service a wide range of plant equipment.
- Teamwork and Support: Foster a positive work environment, show respect for your team members, and lend a helping hand when needed.
- Experience: At least six months of experience in mobile plant mechanics and repairs.
- Physical Ability: Can lift up to 25kg; safe lifting methods will be provided.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime and respond to late call-outs.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and a client-centric approach are essential.
- Bonus Skills: Welding and steelworking skills are advantageous.
