Due to winning new projects KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a Mechanical Supervisor for our upcoming Shutdown team in Gladstone.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the delivery of projects and performance of employees to ensure compliance with the authorised Health, Safety and Environment Management Plan, including all relevant systems and procedures contained therein.
- Apply a high level of professional and technical skill in leading effective project management services, including the planning, preparation, delivery, controls and completion of projects as required by the Area Manager
- Provide consistent leadership, direction and support to teams that ensures work is carried out in a safe, efficient and effective manner that meets the client’s needs.
- In consultation with the Superintendent, undertake general Human Resource functions including performance management activities that identify and addresses both areas for improvement and potential promotion/progression opportunities for employees.
- Maintain and demonstrate a high level of compliance with all Kaefer systems, policies and procedures in both own performance and that of accountable employees
- Develop and maintain effective and professional working relationships with existing and potential clients, as well as other Kaefer divisions, that promotes the business
- Provide general support to the Gladstone Superintendent to maintain and develop business in the Area as required.
- Assist with implementation of systems, controls and training to ensure labour productivity is within budget.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Must hold a S1,2,3 and G2
- CSE, WAH, S11 and Trade certificate is also essential.
- Previous experience using SAP is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and comfortable able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly driven and organised individual
- Natural passion for leadership and ability to motivate and drive your team.
- Intermediate to advanced computer and data base skills including MS Office Suite.
