You will be based at our Berri Estates Winery which is the largest combined Winery and Packaging Facility in the
Southern Hemisphere with a proud heritage and world class technology. You will be part of a committed team, working alongside passionate colleagues. Lead a team in safe & efficient maintenance of state of the art packaging equipment in a new facility. Competitive salary & wine allowance.Your Key Accountabilities
- Efficiently and effectively supervise and perform, when needed, maintenance and breakdown duties on plant equipment.
- Ensure all machinery is correctly set up, maintained and operated in accordance with maintenance. Follow up on the progress, workmanship and successful completion of works to the high standard Accolade Wines expects.
- Prioritise work/projects.
- Provide maintenance support for packaging production to achieve OEE targets
- Execute maintenance requests in accordance with prioritisation.
- Ensure that all maintenance staff and contractors carry out work in a safe manner that complies with statutory and other company safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Ensure all spares and consumables are managed and maintained at the appropriate levels through inventory management and supplier inventory agreements.
- Keep control and maintaining documentation relevant to the Maintenance system, workshop functions and other procedural requirements.
- Review and monitor equipment breakdowns and in consultation with the Maintenance Manager implement strategies to improve the runtime and availability of equipment.
- Ensure monthly statutory compliance schedule is completed.

- Good knowledge of asset management systems

- Good understanding of OHS and Quality systems
- An extensive knowledge of packaging operations and maintenance of packaging equipment
- Mechanical / fabrication qualifications
- Current Forklift licence
