UGL Services; Fuels & Energy division are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) to join the WA Team delivering strategic and innovative quality maintenance services to the client providing Supervision and coordination of related tasks.
About the role
As a key member of the operational delivery team, your leadership skills will ensure that all work meets the standards in relation to safety, quality, schedules and cost. You will:
- Monitor and ensure high level of performance of trade staff and contractors (multi-discipline)
- Provide technical advice and be able to problem solve, encouraging others
- Manage the schedule of upcoming maintenance tasks including resourcing and tooling requirements
- Liaise with clients, site contacts and sub-contractor personnel
- Provide schedule updates to the Regional Superintendent and site personnel on the status of maintenance tasks
- Oversee, monitor and implement Quality control measures and initiatives
- Monitor and effectively control work performance - both internal and sub-contract
- Assisting with incident reporting and HSE investigations
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders
- Foster a culture of inclusion working with a diverse organisation
About You
You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:
- Trade Certificate - Mechanical
- Demonstrated experience in a similar environment ideally in Oil & Gas, Brownfield's Projects and maintenance
- Demonstrated experience leading a multi-disciplinary team including sub-contractor engagement
- Experienced with work pack development, planning and scheduling works
- Experience in delivering continuous improvement ideas and strategies
- Proven program management
- Ability to contribute to a high-performing team
- Experience to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
