Mechanical Supervisor

Origin Group (QLD) Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Supervisor to assist with large scale projects and maintenance jobs in the Mechanical & Structural Field.

LOCATION: Mackay, QLD 

Must have:

• Australian Recognised Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate. 
• Strong Mechanical background is highly desirable.
• A valid QLD Driver's License.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and ability to lead a team.
• Attention to detail and quality control.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be highly self-motivated.
• Be a good problem solver.
• Safety focused.
• Any additional certificates / licences will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities: 

• Project ownership through to and inclusive of project close-out.
• Developing existing and new customer relationships
• Lead, coach, and develop team members by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance and mentoring others.
• Manage QA and WHS on Projects.
