About the Role
As a dynamically growing business across Australia, we are an industry leader in the AU Logistics Industry with a strong focus on people, safety and forging long term business relationships. As a result, we are experiencing rapid growth within the business and forecasted future growth and are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our team in our Lytton Depot.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing the day-to-day operations of a busy Depot and supervising a team to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have Supervisory experience and a trade mechanical or engineering background, preferably with Heavy Vehicle Experience.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Managing the daily operation of the workshop to ensure work is undertaken in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner
- Supervise, lead, and motivate all workshop staff whilst ensuring clear and definitive scopes of work are provided and understood
- Managing and coordinating projects within scheduled time frames
- Monitoring workshop efficiencies and productivity
- Ability to provide a safe, supportive and positive workplace, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance productivity
- Uphold company policies and procedures, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellence!
Requirements:
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Workshop Leadership role
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
- Team player who is highly motivated, dedicated, and proactive
- Hands-on leader – able to get on the tools when needed
- HC or MC Truck License preferred
- Take ownership, demonstrate accountability and integrity in all that you do while providing a clear direction forward.
