About the role
Based in our Roma Workshop, the position of Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all workshop activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. Your responsibilities will include providing technical guidance, managing resources effectively, maintaining QHSE standards, and exceeding customer expectations. Suited to either a Roma resident or open to a Brisbane FIFO on a 5:2 roster, the roles day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Ensure workshop activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to commercially competitive standards with respect to cost, quality, service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Ensure appropriate, effective and efficient allocation and use of human and physical resources to achieve the goals and objectives of the workshop operations
- Take responsibility for the identification of continuous improvement opportunities and participation in the development and implementation of solutions
- Provide input as required to assist with the preparation of accurate customer quotations.
- Provide effective supervision / leadership of and guidance to field and workshop personnel
- Co-ordinate, plan and schedule all workshop activities, managing workflow from job creation to close out
- Ensure job packs and job reports are completed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner
- Follow up on workshop jobs both from a customer and company perspective to ensure quality of workmanship
- Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors on an “as needs” basis.
About you
- Certified Mechanical Technician or equivalent trade qualification
- Comprehensive Construction Safety Awareness Training
- Valid and up-to-date Driver’s License
- Proven track record as a Service Coordinator or Service Technician in the Oil & Gas or related sector
- Proficient in overseeing daily operations of a service team, including coordinating, planning, and scheduling workshop activities
- Skilled in inspiring and leading a team to consistently surpass benchmarks in job completion time and quality.
