Sydney Metro West - Eastern Tunnelling Package
The Project
John Holland, CPB Contractors and Ghella Joint Venture (JCG) has commenced design and construction work for the Sydney Metro West - Eastern Tunnelling Package (ETP).
ETP includes the construction of 3.5-kilometre tunnels under Sydney Harbour between The Bays and the Sydney CBD, and the excavation of Pyrmont and Hunter Street stations. This is the final piece in the puzzle to deliver the city-shaping Sydney Metro West project.

The Role:
We are seeking qualified Mechanical Trades personnel with Tunnelling/Underground experience to join our project Eastern Tunnelling Package. You will have experience and knowledge around breakdowns, maintenance, repairs and services of heavy mobile plant equipment.
We are taking expressions of interest for the below positions:

• Mechanical Leading Hands
• Mechanical Fitters
• Boilermakers

Skills and Experience:
Relative to the seniority of the role you are applying for, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

• Trade qualifications.
• Relevant and up to date tickets and licenses
• Tunnelling/Underground experience.
• Major Project experience.
• Ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong knowledge, understanding and demonstration of OH&S.
