Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Mechatronics Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As the successful candidate, you will be primarily responsible for completing system automation tasks as part of a robotic manufacturing process capital project upgrade.
Reporting to our Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, electrical and mechanical installation, PLC programming, commissioning and documentation related to the project automation scope.
Required Skills:
- Process evaluation and development of automated solutions
- Initiative, attention to detail and accuracy in task work
- Ability to work autonomously
- Effective design based on safety & environmental requirements of project
Qualifications & Experience:
- Mechatronic, Electrical, or Automation Engineering Degree (or relevant equivalent)
- Experience in PLC based Plant Control Systems and Process Instrumentation
- Omron PLC experience
- Experience in manufacturing automation projects
The approximate contract term is 3 months, but may be extended based on project requirements and longer-term opportunities.
