About the Job

Our award-winning Graduate Development Program offers fresh graduates a chance to embark on their careers by contributing to some of Australia's most significant public infrastructure projects. With access to cutting-edge technology and the guidance of our seasoned team, successful candidates will engage in addressing unique infrastructure challenges that directly benefit the Western Australian community and foster a sustainable future for our state.

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) stands as a leader in delivering world-class public transport services and solutions. The rapid expansion of Western Australia's economy has driven the demand for efficient public transport services across the region, resulting in the establishment of Australia's premier public transport network and one of the world's most efficient, safe, and eco-friendly systems.

Meeting the transportation needs of millions demands the expertise and commitment of a skilled workforce.

About the role:

The PTA presents an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or those graduating this year (2024), specialising in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic engineering, to join our Graduate Program commencing in February 2025.

Our Graduate Development Program is a two-year program, with permanent placement upon successful completion. The program offers comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and the chance to collaborate with the professionals responsible for maintaining our world-class public transport system. Through rotations within our organisation, you will have the opportunity to explore diverse business areas while leveraging cutting-edge technology.
