As part of this expansion, we are looking for Mechatronics Engineers who are curious, engaged and ambitious to join our Controls and Automation team here in Brisbane.

The Role
The core functions of this role are; investigating, analysing, designing and delivering control systems, and will also include support for systems already in the field.
The role includes:
- Control system design and PLC programming - including HMI - for standard & bespoke products
- On site investigation and analysis followed by implementation of improvements
- Providing input into the standardisation and development of the Automation and Controls team
- Actively participating in client safety hazard analysis
- Providing after sales technical customer support, troubleshooting and remediation
- Working with mechanical & electrical teams to ensure strong cross functional integration across all three elements
- Compliance with standards – both internal framework and customer specifications
Your Skills
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a degree in Mechatronics with at least 2-3 years’ experience in Control Systems – salary will be commensurate with experience
- Have advanced knowledge of PLC configuration, programming, and commissioning – both Siemens S7 TIA (Preferred) & Rockwell
- Have technical proficiency in safety and the functional principles of safety
