Join our dedicated team at ConsMin, one of the world's leading manganese producers, as an experienced Medic/Emergency Services Officer. This is a full-time position based at our Woodie Woodie Mine in the Pilbara on a FIFO 7:7 roster.

Reporting to the Senior Advisor - Health, Safety & Training, you will be responsible for:
- Daily management of the Site Medical Facility, including patient care, maintaining supplies, and ensuring cleanliness.
- Maintaining and preparing medical equipment, ambulances, fire tenders, and mine rescue equipment for emergencies.
- Documenting and managing all injuries and illnesses.
- Reporting workplace injuries and high-potential incidents.
- Assisting the Injury Management Coordinator with and monitoring Injury Management and Return-to-Work programs.
- Remain on-call 24/7 for medical treatment and emergency response.
- Conducting monthly medication audits according to Poisons Permit protocol.
- Providing training to the Emergency Response Team.
- Participating in and assisting with training inductions.
- Providing management, advice, and leadership during emergencies.
- Preparing and delivering onsite health presentations.
- Ensuring compliance with site EMP (Emergency Management Plan).
- Conducting fitness-for-work testing.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in a Medic/ESO position within the WA mining industry.
- Cert IV Healthcare Ambulance as a minimum (Paramedic qualification highly desirable).
- Cert III Mines Rescue.
- Cert IV Training and Assessing.
- Drug and Alcohol Testing Certification.
- Snake Handler certification (desirable).
- A current national police clearance.
- Previous experience in Risk Management and Health Promotion.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
- A current MR driver's license.
- Working at Heights and Confined Spaces certifications.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills.
- Strong organizational and computer literacy skills.
