Why we need you
The Road Access and Planning Branch is seeking an organised, passionate, and self-motivated professional with Business Services experience to join the team. The team is responsible for providing specialist technical advice and guidance in relation to planning referrals for development applications, subdivision applications structure plans and planning schemes to planning authorities.
The roles with see you undertake a variety of tasks related to Business Services coordination, including, but not limited to:
- Be the first point of contact for internal stakeholders, responding to enquiries, problem solving or redirecting queriers as required
- Provide daily support to the Director, including diary and inbox management (EA role)
- Maintaining and updating information for a variety of reporting
- Assisting in the onboarding and exiting processes for staff
- Prepare, monitor and oversee travel, accommodation and other requirements for the team
- Co-ordinate fixed assets across the team, as well as IT account access
To be successful you will have:
- Business, administration and procurement support experience.
- Financial management experience including reporting principles, practices and systems.
- Interpersonal communication and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to meet work schedules and deadlines.
- Demonstrated skills in building and enhancing stakeholder relationships.
