MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION PROFESSIONAL
We are Cardiology Associates, leading specialist Cardiology practices located in Miranda, Engadine Sans Souci, and soon to open rooms in the brand new Bay Central Complex in Woolooware. We comprise Physician, Interventional, and Electrophysiology Cardiologists. Due to our expansion, we are looking for a Medical admin all-rounder to become an integral part of our dynamic team on a full-time basis. Part-time/job share will be considered for the right candidates. We are committed to providing an outstanding service to our patients and clinicians alike, whilst providing a friendly work environment with a good work/life balance. Our admin staff have the opportunity to have a percentage of their role based at home, once they have become an established member of the team. You will report to the Practice Manager and be rostered to rotate through a range of workstations, servicing both the front desk, and other dedicated administration areas, with plenty of workload diversity.
Flexibility to work across all sites is essential.
Key tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Acting as first point of contact for patients
- Booking patient appointments for the Cardiologists, Cardiac Sonographers and Cardiac Technicians, using the Shexie PMS platform
- Handling a large volume of telephone and internet enquiries
- Booking patients for hospital procedures
- Confirming patient appointments
- Minimal dictaphone report typing using Olympus transcription software
- Invoicing and receipting of patient accounts
- End-of-day banking
- Scanning and electronic filing.
- Proficiency with Tempo echocardiography reporting software (training provided).
