About the role
The Manager Medical Imaging Services is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Medical Imaging Service at the Riverland General Hospital. The incumbent manages the daily work flow and resource allocation across all areas and contributes to the provision of an expert clinical service.
The Manager is responsible for all human resource matters including recruitment, performance management and for supporting the training and professional development of Medical Imaging staff.
The Manager is responsible and committed to the ongoing management and development of the Medical Imaging Department in accordance with SAMI strategic direction and operational planning.

Essential Requirements:
Educational/Vocational Qualifications:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) (from 1 July 2012)
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles a statement of accreditation in Diagnostic Radiography from the Australian Institute of Radiography, or its recognised equivalent (up to July 2012) and then registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (post July 2012).
- Licensed under the Radiation Protection and Control Act SA (1982)
