CALHN Medical Lead - Specialty Medicine 1 Program, Royal Adelaide Hospital
Overview of Role
As part of the Specialty Medicine 1 leadership team, the Medical Lead, Specialty Medicine 1 Program, will contribute to the achievement of key performance indicators, strategic and operational deliverables for the program.
The role will provide Medical Leadership and governance for all clinical work within the Specialty Medicine 1 Program and contribute to service planning within the program.
The Medical Lead, Specialty Medicine 1 Program, is accountable for the Medical Leadership and governance within the Specialty Medicine 1 Program within Central Adelaide Local Health Network.
Overview of Program and Leadership Structure
The Specialty Medicine 1 Program Service consists of Renal, Clinical Immunology & Allergy, Rheumatology, Clinical Pharmacology, and Perioperative Medicine.
The Specialty Medicine 1 Program is led by an overarching Clinical Program Director working collaboratively with the Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Leads.
Essential Requirements:
Holding appropriate specialist qualifications for a Consultant, you will be registered as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia. You will demonstrate experience in a Senior Clinical leadership role, including experience in the planning and provision of health services. This will be supported by your proven leadership skills and ability to motivate others. Successfully leading professional groups to achieve best practice clinical outcomes, you will have the capacity to establish and maintain productive working relationships with a diverse range of professional staff.
