What you'll be doing
Blacktown Medical Oncology Research (BMOR) is one of the major centres at Western Sydney where a comprehensive range of cancer care services are available. An integrated and coordinated service is provided to cancer patients and their careers from a multidisciplinary team approach.
The service is avowedly patient centric with research and clinical trials forming one of the guiding principles of the service. BMOR is one of the largest Oncology trial units in Australia, conducting phase I – IV sponsored and investigator-initiated trials. It employs a large team of highly qualified and experienced staff.
The purpose of this position is to provide ongoing regulatory support for the 100+ trials currently conducted in the unit. This position will coordinate and oversees the ongoing submission requirements for the unit. The Regulatory Officer will work both independently and within a diverse team composing of general administration, finance, Clinical Trials Coordinators and regulatory start up team. The position is under the direction of the Clinical Trials Manager and Director of Clinical Trials.

Selection Criteria: * Proven experience and/or knowledge of Regulatory submissions.
- Working knowledge and/or experience of the REGIS system.
- Experience in all Microsoft Office Suite programs and working knowledge of databases.
- High levels of organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands/workloads.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven attention to detail.
