Form of workExcellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our high quality, General Practice. This position is for Monday to Friday work, with occasional Saturday morning shifts. You will be working with a supportive practice staff and a team of other receptionists.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Opening and Closing the clinic
- Answering phone calls and taking messages
- Welcoming patients into the practice
- Booking appointments and managing the appointment diary
- Billing patients and processing payments
- Maintaining a general tidiness of the practice
- Other clerical and administrative work
- Assist practice manager with certain tasks
Experience and Attributes
- Must be able to provide a high level of customer service.
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly and approachable
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Must have minimum one year experience in a Medical Reception role
- Familiarity with Best Practice software or similar would be an advantage
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
