About us and the role

A friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable and efficient reception team is essential in providing excellent patient service to our community in Jerrabomberra. We are seeking an experienced medical admin manager to support our wonderful reception team. The admin manager will report directly to the practice manager. 

We are a close-knit team. Our patients come first but enjoying your work is a must.

You will support our reception team of 7 wonderful individuals. You'll work with 8 GPs, a pediatrician and an experienced nursing team of 4.

Ideally, we are looking for an experienced medical admin manager with proven leadership and people management skills. However, a highly skilled individual with management skills in another healthcare setting may also be wanting a change from their current environment.

Medical admin manager areas of responsibility include practice culture, leadership, people management, patient journey, administrative duties, billing and quality improvement activities. We use Microsoft suite and Best Practice software.

Hours:

The Surgery at Jerra is open Monday to Saturday, including Thursday evenings. The successful candidate may be required across Monday to Saturday.
