Role Description
This full-time role for a Medical Science Liaison/Key Account Manager at Aruma Labs is an opportunity to bring your in-depth scientific knowledge and strong relationship building skills to a dynamic, growing company at the forefront of the medical cannabis industry. The role will be responsible for managing key accounts in Greater Brisbane/Gold Coast, developing professional relationships with KOLs and key stakeholders, providing excellent customer service, and equipping healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools to utilise our products to drive positive health outcomes for their patients.
Key responsibilities
- Develop professional relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and key stakeholders.
- Educate clinicians, pharmacists, and other HCPs about our products and the benefits and applications of medical cannabis.
- Participate in medical conferences, seminars, and other events to promote the therapeutic use of cannabis.
- Ensure all activities are compliant with applicable regulations and the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.
- Gather and communicate clinical insights and feedback identified through interactions with KOLs, scientific experts, and HCPs.
- Travel as needed to meet with healthcare professionals and attend industry events.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Science liaison, pharmaceutical sales representative or similar role.
- Ability to apply and leverage scientific and medical knowledge.
- Experience in account management and business planning.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Knowledge and experience with alternative and/or unregistered medicines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to navigate challenges.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of regulations governing information provision/interactions for prescription medicines.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field such as life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine.
