Medical Science Liaison – Medicinal Cannabis – QLD

Lyphe Group is proud to be launching in Australia and we are seeking a motivated, passionate, and fast-paced individual who can make a real difference in patients’ lives, providing GP’s and Pharmacists with the knowledge and support to offer alternative treatments to their patients with symptoms unresolved by conventional medicines.
About the role:
As an MSL with Lyphe Australia, the candidate will support Lyphe’s Medicinal Cannabis brands in Australia. The role will include but is not limited to:
- Develop and implement a territory business plan that makes use of face-to-face interactions with HCPs, GPs and service providers
- Key account management of specialist Medicinal Cannabis clinics
- Daily face to face calls to both GP’s and Pharmacists and clinics, detailing Lyphe product brands and services
- Provision of education on Medicinal Cannabis and its potential therapeutic applications to HCPs and pharmacists
- Supporting HCPs to understand the TGA prescribing framework and provide guidance in completing TGA special access schemes and authorised prescriber approvals.
- Delivering a dependable, science-based, and value-added service to our clients in order to enable the greatest possible patient outcomes
- Providing support to HCPs via phone calls, video calls, email and face to face interactions
- Maintaining CRM system with customer details and daily interactions
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
- Must have recent GP or specialist pharmaceutical sales background, preferably with strong customer relationships; Experience in pain management highly regarded.
- Must be located in Brisbane, QLD.
- An interest in alternative therapies or plant based medicines
- Medicines Australia certification preferred;
- Be motivated, structured, and able to work autonomously;
- Ability to comprehend and communicate clinical publications and scientific concepts to a range of audiences.
- Confident - enjoy meeting people and building relationships with key account contacts;
- Willing to learn and to be coached and developed to achieve great results;
- Have a reliable and safe vehicle.
Key requirements:
- Previous experience gained in GP sales essential and/or pharmacy or medical devices channels;
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills;
- Demonstrated success in achieving new business growth;
- Develop strong and mutually beneficial relationships with customers;
About Remuneration:
- Base salary + car allowance + incentives
