Part time Medical Secretary required for a boutique Surgical Clinic located at SJOG Murdoch. This is a part-time role on a rotating roster of 5 days on 5 days off (no weekends) commencing on a Wednesday.
The Role
Our client is a warm and welcoming Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon who is committed to providing holistic medical care for their patients. The practice is situated in the convenient and vibrant location in Murdoch boasting modern rooms with superior facilities.
Responsibilities include
- Welcoming patients to the practice
- Efficiently managing clinics, patient bookings and treatment lists
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice
- Coordinating all bookings and managing appointments including theatre
- Dictaphone typing essential
- Processing invoices, bills and payments using EFTPOS and Medicare & insurance claims
- Providing end-to-end administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
- Reception and other support duties where required
- Flexibility to provide leave cover and other days if necessary
- Demonstrated previous experience as a Medical Receptionist/Secretary (at least 2+ years)
- Strong working knowledge of Genie software
- Excellent orgagnisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and professionally, whilst also being supportive within a team environment
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills both in-person and on the phone with a demonstrated empathetic nature
- High attention to detail and level of accuracy ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Up to date COVID-19 vaccination & Police Clearance
