The hospital is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services to the diverse communities it serves.Position OverviewAs a Locum GP or SMO in the Obstetric Department, you will play a crucial role in providing obstetric care to patients at Esperance Health Campus. This position is suitable for a physician at the level of PGY6+ with extensive experience in Obstetrics and/or general practice. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a modern and well-equipped facility, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a rural setting
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in the obstetric department
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
- GP Specialist Qualifications (FRACGP and/or FACCRM) AND Considerable Obstetrics experience in a rural setting
- Current Diploma of DRANZCOG e.g., NNR, ALS2, ATLS, APLS, PROMPT, EMST, EMET, Rural Emergency Simulation Training (REST)
- Current Working with Children Card
- Current Clinical Record Screening Clearance (within 12 months)
- Medical Indemnity Insurance details
- PGY6 or above
- ALS2 certification
