Duties and Responsibilities of this role will include:
- Peg Feeding
- Medication Administration
- Manual Handling
- Flexible rostering shifts
- Providing assistance to clients with their daily living tasks
- Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and assistance with personal hygiene
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation
- Providing companionship, friendship and emotional support
- Documenting services provided, incidents and completing reports as required
Our ideal candidate
- Has a valid Police Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check (Essential)
- Manual Handling Certified (Essential)
- Peg Feeding Certified (Essential)
- Medication Administration Certified (Essential)
- Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent (Desirable)
- Current First Aid Certificate
